Question 1: I have never done yoga before. Is this program good for beginners?

 Yes! This program is great for beginners. Yoga is a great workout because you can fit each pose to meet your body. We will give you different ways to do each posture so you can grow into the class. Hyp-Yoga is yoga for real people with real bodies.

Question 2: Is hypnosis safe?

Answer 2: Absolutely. Hypnosis is a very natural state of being that we actually go in and out of regularly. Anytime you get lost in a movie or book or “space out” (even when driving) you are in a hypnotic state. In hypnosis, the part of your mind that controls all of your habits, autonomic processes (like breathing) and your emotions, comes to to the forefront to help you in making permanent changes in your behaviors. You are always in control, and you will never do anything you do not want to do or are opposed to doing.

Question 3: Can I be hypnotized?

If you have ever day dreamed or “spaced out” you have been in a hypnotic state. For the purposes of the Hyp-Yoga class you do not need to go into a deep or profound state of hypnosis, all that is necessary is for you to try to relax and just let your mind wander. Everyone of a sound mental state can be hypnotized, some people can just go a little deeper than others. When you see stage hypnosis shows, the people on stage are usually the ones picked out by the entertainer to be “deep subjects.” In Hyp-Yoga class we work at a lighter level where everyone can participate and everyone can see results by making changes to your behaviors and thought patterns.

Question 4: Will I “feel” hypnotized when I am doing the class?

Maybe – Maybe not. When we do the hypnosis at the end of the class, you might be aware of your surroundings the whole time, and this is just fine. However, you might be one of those “deep subjects” that can slip very easily into a deeper state of hypnosis and this is also just fine. Every experience with hypnosis is different, and whether or not you “feel” hypnotized, know that the program is still working on helping you make changes in your subconscious mind.

Question 5: I'm not flexible. Can I do yoga?

Yes you can. We do yoga to become flexible. Everyone has to start somewhere and where you are right now is the perfect place for you to start. This class is for everyone – Join us today!

Question 6: Is yoga or hypnosis affiliated with any religion?

No – neither yoga or hypnosis are affiliated with any religion. Yoga is a philosophy, and for our purposes with Hyp-Yoga – it is essentially a workout program – a practice of yoga poses to encourage strength, relaxation and flexibility.

Question 7: What comes with the Hyp-Yoga Weight Loss Program?

When you purchase the Hyp-Yoga Weight Loss Program you will receive a Hyp-Yoga Manual to guide you through your weight loss journey. This manual will lead you through your work each week and will direct you to what workouts to do. Also included are two DVDs with 1 workout on each DVD and 4 different hypnosis sessions at the end of each workout. (Two scripts are repeated – the more times you hear a script, the more powerful it becomes!) Also, you will receive a FREE nutrition guide and a FREE yoga poses poster with a results tracker on the back. This is all included in your cost of $39.99.

Question 8: Can I repeat the program as many times as I wish?

Yes! Please, repeat this program over and over! The more you do the yoga and the more you listen to the hypnosis sessions, the better the program will work. Hypnosis gets stronger with every layer and even after all your weight is lost, we encourage you to keep with the program as long as you can to stay conscious of your maintenance behaviors.

Question 9: Does Hyp-Yoga work on other goals besides weight loss?

Yes! We can use Hyp-Yoga to work on many different goals such as sleeping better, living presently, reducing (and preventing) stress, increasing energy, building self-confidence, public speaking, quitting smoking, increasing libido, improving your golf game, staying youthful, and the list can go on for miles. Right now, Hyp-Yoga is in the process of turning our successful live class prenatal program into a DVD program to be offered nationally.

Question 10: Who created Hyp-Yoga?

Hyp-Yoga was created by Carly Cummings, Kimberly Isherwood, and Rebecca Grabner. All three ladies are certified hypnotists and yoga instructors. Kim is also a Registered Nurse and Carly is a certified personal trainer. Together they represent over 65 years in the health and fitness industry. All three are master trainers for Hyp-Yoga and train and license Hyp-Yoga instructors all over the US.
